Audiologists/Hearing instrument specialists

WorkSafeBC’s Hearing Aid Program provides hearing aids to workers with significant work-related hearing loss. WorkSafeBC has contracted a number of hearing aid providers in B.C. to supply hearing aids and related hearing services to workers with established claims for occupational noise-induced or traumatic hearing loss.

Hearing aid providers

WorkSafeBC has a network of qualified hearing aid providers who’ve signed the Hearing Aid Provider Agreement. B.C. service providers not contracted to provide hearing aids and related services may not invoice WorkSafeBC. If you’d like to become a qualified service provider, e-mail purchase@worksafebc.com.

Hearing aid providers outside B.C. wishing to provide service to injured workers with accepted WorkSafeBC claims should read our FAQs to learn how to either become part of the provider network or how to invoice WorkSafeBC for services.

Determining eligibility for medical aid services

To determine if an injured worker is entitled to medical aid, or determine past services rendered, call 604-276-3134 . Provide the worker’s name and WorkSafeBC claim number. If the claim number is unavailable, provide the worker’s date of birth and mailing address. Remember: An individual is assigned a claim number when a claim is initiated; the number does not in itself mean the claim is accepted.
