Every year, WorkSafeBC, the B.C. Federation of Labour, and the Business Council of British Columbia co-host a public ceremony to remember those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents or occupational diseases.
The 2011 Day of Mourning ceremony was held on Thursday, April 28, 10:30 a.m., at Jack Poole Plaza. It was attended by families, workers, employers, and others.
